Re: Oportunity Charge and flank attack
There is an error here I believe at 2C. The pursuit move of the HC is treated as a new charge. It is the reactive player's unit that is charging, hence it must still be an opportunity charge. Under 'resolution" of an opportunity charge in the rules, cavalry charged by opportunity from the flank may...

Oportunity Charge and flank attack
I'm having doubts on the rules regarding both opportunity charges and flank attacks. In this situation, 3 LC declare charge to a unit of infantry in column, one of the LC comes at 4 UD of an Heavy Cavalry that decided to opportunity charge. We need to solve this melee before moving the LC to contact...

Re: Multiple Attacks
The first question about morale support, Fr5 can only get morale support from correctly aligned unis, I.e none. Hence yes, they can only assist Fr5 with fire support. Thanks a lot for the clarifications, one thing I noted is that we may are playing wrong the support to charges. We always fought tha...

Re: Multiple Attacks
=> About gaming, It would be more efficient to charge first with the unit FR5. If so, BR2 must undertake a manoeuvre movement (which can fail; if not an “action marker” for the unit and the threat to do it again against FR2. When you say ti charge first with FR5 then with FR2, you are talking about...

Re: Multiple Attacks
It is quite rare to see two units charge the same target. The rules do permit this. They state that one counts as a supporting unit for the other. Getting a guaranteed flank is perhaps the only situation where it is helpful. So in your opinion, even though FR1, FR2 and FR3 aren't in an orientation ...

Multiple Attacks
We’re trying to get a grip on the rules, but still have several doubts, especially on the charge part and multiple attacks. Looking at the example in attach and the following situation: All the French units belong to the same Division with attack orders. The French have Elan and the English have Ten...
