Re: Charges, moves and passage of lines
I'm not sure it contradicts anything and I'm quite sure it is what he wrote.
What is it you think it contradicts?

Re: Charges, moves and passage of lines
I don't think that covers it.
If I'm reading Herve correctly.
You can move a second group up to support a charge even if only one of those units is actually supporting.

Re: Charges, moves and passage of lines
I think if/as B is moving as part of a Group then No as one of the bullet points on p37 says "Units or groups moving during a passage of lines may not charge or shoot" I think you can spend the pip to bring C up to support as long as you declared it as a support when you declared the charge. cheers ...

Re: Is return fire mandatory
I think it says can because its to do with can return fire even if its fired before.
Otherwise , next time win the initiative, dont forget you can spend CP's to influence the iniatative.
On the column, not having to fire......Where is this covered in the rules.
cheers
Jim

Re: Is return fire mandatory
Yes,imo return fire is mandatoy if its at salvo range. If someone moves to skirmish range and just snipes at you with his skirmishers you don't need to shoot back.
