Does seem strange that you can in theory have infantry divisions without any infantry present!

If you are defeated you can score between 10 and 30 points,
A draw between 20 and 40 points
A marginal victory between 40 and 60 points
A decisive victory between 60 and 80 points
A crushing victory between 80 and 100

In tournaments a spread sheet is used and the level of points awarded depends on the level of victory which is as per the rules on page 82 and a subtraction based on the proportion of your losses if you're the winner.
