Problem of objectives when a river roll results in a stream

A river is listed on the objective table which allows for a bridge or ford to cross it and either of these two are legal objectives. There’s a 50/50 chance of rolling a stream. In the English version a stream is not mentioned as being Allowed to have a bridge or a ford as it only slows movement by 1 or 2 UD. So is it just an omission in the translation? It would allow only one objective in your opponents area when you need two

In the French version, there is only rivers ("rivière") that can have bridge or ford . BUT river is the general terme for the wet obstacles that can be stream ("ruisseau"), shallow river ("rivière peu profonde") or deep river ("rivière profonde")? Since the placement says "placement de la rivière", I shall be inclined to allow ford or bridge on a stream, for purpose of objectives and zone of passage allowing an easier fight.
