Ottoman Question - Mixed Infantry

Good morning,
The Ottomans used mixed units (infantry with cavalry - roman cohors equitata style). how can we do this in our rules?

2 base infantry + 1 base cavalry ? in fact this leads to occupying the same space on the table as 4 infantry bases. (3x6cm).

Rules for this?

Movement:
column infantry speed.

Combat:
1 - combat as a single unit
2 - against infantry is equal to column infantry with 1 support
3 - against cavalry is a column infantry with two safe flanks

Tire: is a column infantry unit

Hello,
interesting topic.
do you have sources?
was it a standard tactic or a one-use?
was the cavalry or the infantry prominent?

Hello,
it's in the book "Napoleonic Ottoman Army" of C. Flaherty, Partizan Press.
The infantry is prominent.
