This just a query /clarification which I am sure is simple (ish) ...

Place Of Terrain, page 77, table: position in the sector refers: The paragraph immediately below this table seems to imply that the table itself NEVER applies ! It appears that there is no table size in which the table results aren't modified.

Multiplying the differences in the distances is understandable for a wider table, but mystifying if the table is 120cm by 90cm.

Also, if you are to add 2UD to every distance for a 120cm x 90cm table, does that mean that no terrain can ever touch the table edge ?

By the way, FWIW, we've pretty much stuck with the table results as written with no ill effect, and still get reasonable looking tables.


Just wondering what was intended ??

We play nearly all our games at 200 points on 120cm x 80cm with a 3cm UD. This is the standard for the rules table.
To save a lot of time on dice rolling we use the website gamebase.games which follows all the book's terrain generating rules.

Add 2UD for 90cm but not for the standard 80cm

Also I think common sense would say don't add 2 UD to a roll of 1.
