protection of large artillery batteries

Message par KeefM » sam. 28 mai 2022 02:07

With a large battery being two bases, does that mean artillery protection as per page 62, needs to extend past both flanks of the large battery ? Thus, a single infantry unit cannot provide protection to a large battery.

It seems logical that a large battery might need more infantry to get the same protection level as a normal or small battery.

We just have the one support. Should be enough cover for a few gunners.😀

Only one unit is required in to be in rear contact to give two secure flanks regardless of the size of the artillery battery. pg 62
