How would you complete this procedure:
Two cavalry units declare a charge as a group. They are side by side. One of them targets a cavalry unit. The second targets an artillery unit adjacent to the enemy cavalry.
There is no group move issue, they will start as a group and end as a group, except...
The chargers stop at 4UD for the target responses. The enemy cavalry counter charges, the battery stands.
So, does the unit charging the battery just move into the battery, now 4UD 'behind' the cavalry melee and break up the group. Alternatively does it stay at 4UD from the battery then complete its charge when the cavalry v cavalry fight is over?

Re: Group charges
Hi , for me 2 solutions
If you paid 1 PC for each charge, then no issue, each cav reach it's target.
If you paid only 1 PC for the charge, when you arrived at 4UD the enemy cavalry counter charge to protect the Artillery, the other cav unit become a support units, and after combat resolution the first one can continue to reach the artillery.

Re: Group charges
Thanks, I think I like that as the best option.
