Opportunity charge on moving non-group

If I have a division consisting of infantry and a cavalry unit, with the cavalry providing rear support, I cannot move them as a group, even though my intention is that at the end of the divisional move the cavalry remains in the same position relative to the infantry it is supporting. If I advance towards enemy cavalry with this division, can I declare that the cavalry is simultaneously moving along behind the infantry, or can the infantry be charged as the two moves have to be entirely separate?

Amazingly we have never had this situation. I would suggest they are separate moves. On the plus side, if the infantry break you are ready to clobber the pursuers 😄

Agree they are separate moves. This would be exceedingly hard to coordinate which the intention of not group move. So yes the infantry getting too close to enemy mounted would trigger the Opportunity charge before the cavalry also moved.
