Re: obstacles
So following on from that if a unit is moving down either side of a hedge or continuing across a hedge is its move distance still reduced. I I think it should but am open to debate.

Re: Combination Moves
Obviously they have to comply with orders so for the purpose of these, the move below doesn't comply, But only half of the units have to comply anyway.

Re: Cavalerie, Arrêt Charge et V2
Just checked the English version on page 38 and you are correct it can make a withdrawal move, good news for my Austrian Hussars who are playing in Britcon this weekend. Re: Impetuous Cavalry
Yes you can only pursue if the combat result allows a pursuit ( win with either Routed or Eliminated result against cavalry but a simple win against infantry or artillery) however you can't do a control test to avoid perusing so be prepared to head off into the wide blue yonder!

Re: Cavalerie, Arrêt Charge et V2
Hopefully the English version matches the french one in spirit. For me the answers are
1, I agree with you
2, The cavalry can't do a withdrawal move after the pursuit in my rules its page 61 Cavalry Withdrawal and Combat in pursuit.
Very much enjoying V2

Re: can Reserve divisions activate ?
That is correct they activate in the turn following their arrival, so opponents have at least a full turn to respond to the new arrivals.

Re: a division without units ...
The usual practice when this sort of thing happens is that the commander is removed from play but doesn't count lost( probably sacked though!)and the division is discounted from performing any further actions but you're right can't see it mentioned in the rules but that's how I'd play it
