Support for squares

Hi Guys,

Do squares receive support from other units in melee?

If they do, is the support direction therefore relative to the charge?

Dear Andy,
Concerning the moral support during a fight, I would say that the square gets a support on the left, on the right and at rear if any of these three units are not involved in another fight at the same time.
I don’t have the English version but it is written in the French version page 59.

We would play it like that. Just consider the square as being like a unit in column or line facing its opponent and apply the support rules.
